If there is a hidden poet in you, here is the chance to bring it out. All you need to do is just bring your poem, sher, doha or ghazal and let the emotions flow. Let your passion for poetry take over as you become a part of "Kaavyalaya".
The event will be conducted in two parts; in the former one (having 60 marks weight-age) you have to come up with your own Doha/Ghazal. In the later part (having 40 marks weight-age), you will be provided with an abstract line, based upon which you have to construct poetry.

A magazine is a gestalt of ideas. A good writer/designer/editor/cartoonist does not create the successful magazine, a magazine or a newspaper goes beyond these individual talents. Discover what goes into it's making in the workshop and test your skills in the competition that follows.
Instructions: You are required to make a magazine edition of 8 pages on the spot. The magazine shall consist of a Cover Page, Cover Story, Editor's Note, Interview Section, Editorials, Cartoon Strips and general articles. Everything has to be hand made. You can choose your own theme and content. Scoring will be done taking into consideration the overall looks, layouts, content and cover theme. You are encouraged to make it more interesting apart from these instructions.
Teams of maximum 4 are allowed. Its better if your team is blended with good artists and writers.
